I love books! There is so much wisdom out there and one does not have enough time to read every single book out there. I decided to compile a list of books that I have read and absolutely loved it. You should give them a shot – especially if you are into improving yourself and gaining knowledge. They also make for a great gift, I personally love receiving good books as a gift! I have included the links to Amazon for ease of finding these books.

How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My LifeImage removed.: I remember reading this book and absolutely loving it! Most of the books out there give you a checklist of things to do, this book is more of lessons learned while relating it to a story that is highly entertaining and easily relate-able. The premise of the book is pretty much trying different skills and the basic knowledge of multiple skills is better than focusing on one skill and honing it to perfection. There is lot of good advice on career, health and happiness. The book is written by Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert comic strip and provides a unique perspective on life that I enjoyed very much! If you could only get one book from this list, I would highly suggest that you get this one!

Real Estate Investing Gone Bad: 21 true stories of what NOT to do when investing in real estate and flipping housesImage removed.: There are so many books out there that tell you what to do but this book tells you what not to do. The book follows 21 deals that went bad for the author – Phil Pustejovsky, who is a You Tube mentor and a investor in the United States, and the lessons learned from each deal. Each deal is real and provides a perspective that one can only gain from actually having gone through that experience. A great book for anyone interested in investing. I would say it is more useful if you have a little bit of experience to truly extract the lessons and knowledge, however a beginner can gain quite a bit from the book too. A highly recommended book for investors!

More Than Cashflow: The Real Risks & Rewards of Profitable Real Estate InvestingImage removed.: This book is written by Julie Broad, an investor in Toronto and BC, a truly Canadian perspective on investing from a Canadian investor. An easy read that packs lot of wisdom and busts lot of myths about real estate, one of them being, it is easy! Real estate is anything but easy! There are lot of short term successes and a business where you have to think about the next deal constantly. It is a fun and an easy read for anyone thinking of starting a career in real estate investing.

Influence: The Psychology of PersuasionImage removed.: Ever wondered how to get people to say yes or why do people say yes? Well, this book is for you! This book is very research heavy with lot of technical terms, so if you like easy reads, this book might not be a best fit for you. The book is written by Robert B. Cialdini, Ph.D, a Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University and is a great book to understand how and why each technique works. This was a tough read for me as well, it does require focus and no distractions to truly understand the research behind each technique. However, well worth it!

The Millionaire MindImage removed.: Another great book to understand who the wealthiest people are and what is the common traits among them. This book was compiled based on interviews and survey responses from many millionaires. It is written by Thomas J. Stanley. Ph.D., so it does include technical research results, however is summarized in a very easy to understand format. One surprising research result was the choice of spouse. A right life partner is essential for success and more millionaires seem to have picked the right partner for them.

5 Love Languages: If picking the right partner is essential for success, how can one know who the right person is? Well, it is by knowing what your love language is and by dating people with the same love language for a long lasting relationship. There is a difference between knowing a partner loves you and actually feeling loved. The knowledge is not sufficient and understanding how you feel loved is the first step in having a long lasting relationship. There are in total 5 love languages and the book provides many examples to fully understand each love language.

I can include lot more books to the above list, however I truly feel the above books are life changing! If you have read any of the books above, leave your thoughts in the comment section below or if you have read a book in the past that truly changed your life, share it below!

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to hit like and share!
